It has been reported that a former lottery winner had died during the course of last week, due to a heart attack, completely penniless and stressed due to apparent financial troubles.
In 2005, Kevin Gough won a staggering £9 million in the State Lottery. He then subsequently spent every last penny of it on both drinking and gambling. He had also spent a lot of the winnings on a financial scam in which he had been tricked.
Upon winning millions in the Lottery, Mr. Gough quit his job as a banker. He had stated that he regretted winning the lottery and that it had consequently ruined the state of his life.
The British national was fondly remembered by all his friends and especially the owner of the newsagents where Mr. Gough had bought the winning lottery ticket.
